About us

Come pass a good time at Zachary’s Cajun Cafe!!

Zachary’s was opened in 2009 by Tim Burke – a native from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, his wife Tamara, and their son and name sake – Zachary. The café sports a comfortable casual atmosphere with counter service or you can get full service when you sit at the bar.

Zachary’s Cajun Café menu offers an array of authentic homemade Cajun dishes from red beans and rice and crawfish etouffee’ to authentic po-boys and the New Orleans style Muffuletta. Louisiana food lovers will appreciate that the bread for the po-boys and Muffuletta is straight from Gambinos bakery out of New Orleans and during Mardi Gras season they bring in Gambino’s King cakes!

At Zachary’s there is something on the menu for everyone.  There are several selections on the menu to delight those in your party with a milder palate and also a kid’s menu that’s sure to please. Guests have commented that the burger is the best they have had anywhere around. All of the food is prepared in house fresh daily – nothing comes from a mix or a jar – each dish is made with love from old family recipes.  Zachary’s also offers the best variety of beers which includes but is not limited to Louisiana’s own ABITA beers. Also try the frozen drink favorites –New Orleans’ Hurricane, Peach Bellini, and Margarita. Happy hour runs Monday – Friday from 4:00 til 7:00 and features $ 1.50 draft, $3.00 frozen drinks, reduced price wines, and half price boudin balls or spicy chicken wings. Live music entertainment is offered through their Open mic night (OM@Z) every Thursday from 6:30 until close and a variety of full gigs with bands on various weekend nights, check out our events calendar to find out what’s happening and when. The live music has been a welcome addition to the Kingwood area and is very family friendly appealing to guests young and old.

At Zachary’s, it’s all about family, friends and a warm, friendly, casual environment. The Zachary’s team would love for your family to be a part of their family – they look forward to getting to know you and serving you. “Come pass a good time!”
